To maximize our time, we have broken each day into morning, afternoon and evenings segments.

Mornings

2023 is proving to be a difficult year for investment, and for navigating through world crises with the goal to thrive.

The theme of the Istanbul Meet Up will be Investing in Difficult Times.

We will gather around a big conference table.

GEOPOLITICS – Carefully selected experts will guide us through crucial topics related to geopolitics of Turkeye, the Eurasia region, and the world.

INVESTING – We will focus on investing – how to thrive in this current year of chaos.With Marvin Yee (Obris Partner) at the head of the table, we will dig deep into strategies for investing in such problematic times.

CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT – We will explore Turkeye’s outstanding Investment Visa program and why many of us have chosen Plan B Citizenships such as Turkeye. Turkeye’s Passport by Investment programs are designed for those who seek a cost effective and time efficient second Citizenship.

OBRIS PORTFOLIO & DEALS – We will review the current Obris portfolio and present bespoke new investment opportunities. Each deal that is presented to Obris members has been carefully crafted and thoroughly vetted by the Obris team.

Our morning schedule will be dense so that we can take advantage of Istanbul after lunch.

Each afternoon is reserved for touring and exploring, or for sipping wine and coffee along the Bosphorus. There is also room for shopping or venturing out on your own.

Expect a tour of Istanbul’s historic city including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and other significant historic landmarks.

EVENINGS

Evenings are for dining, relaxing and celebrating. Our three evenings will include dinners in award winning Istanbul restaurants, a cruise on the Bosphorus and special night of Turkish entertainment.

Mere steps from the Bosphorus Straight which connects Europe and Asia, we chose The Novotel Bosphorus Hotel, a modern icon in the heart of Istanbul’s Karaköy neighborhood. Karaköy is one of the oldest districts in Istanbul. It is also heart of dining and entertainment, and has amazing views.

Please book your hotel room after registering for the event. We have not secured a block of rooms, as the Accor Hotels website member rates are better than what the hotel offers (Accor Hotel Membership is Free to join). A plethora of hotel options are available in the surrounding area.
Lunches and dinners will be provided with your event registration. You are on your own for breakfast.
